The Town of Herbert has initiated a change regarding the operation of the hockey and curling facility. A newly formed non-profit organization, Herbert & District Sports Complex Inc., has mutually agreed to lease the facility for the 2019 - 2022 seasons.

The Town remains the owner of the facility, but all operations will now be overseen and managed by an independant Board of Directors; Chairperson - Kim Funk ; Vice Chairperson - N/A ; Secretary/Treasurer - Kim Redekop; Members: Robin Cannon, Aaron & Maggie Struck, Cory Exner and Town of Herbert Councilor, Sharon Nickel.
