The Herbert & District Recreation Board is an integral part of our community & operates under the umbrella of the Town. They oversee various winter activities at the Herbert Sports Complex; hockey, curling, kids skating & curling clubs. 

Of course, winter isn't the only season in which the Rec Board is involved; summer facilities such as the pool, baseball diamonds & the rodeo food booth fall under their purview.

Aside from the Rec board's jurisdiction, particular sports fall to involved members of the community & surrounding area.

Skating Club
Herbert Skating Club utilizes the Herbert & District Sports Complex for the skating season.

Swimming Programs
The Herbert Community Swimming Pool operates seasonally from June to September. 
In addition to public swimming, swimming lessons and several other swimming programs are organized by the pool staff. Check with the Town Office for rates, schedules, and programs.
